In a very close game that saw the lead change six times, the Diamondbacks prevailed over the Cardinals 12-11. With the score tied at 11, with two outs, Devin McNally lifted a single to center field to score Ryan Courtney from third base with the winning run. Good defense was shown on both sides with fine catches by McNally and Terrance Huff of the D-backs and Clayton Foley of the Cardinals.

McNallys' single and double, and two singles each by Kevin Graham and Brandon
Peterson. For the Cardinals, Nicholas Bob had two singles and a triple,
