Pirates scored 1st with 1 run in the 1st inning. Mets tied the game in the top of the 6th, scored again for the lead. Pirates tied it up at 2 runs apiece in the bottom of the 6th and tried for the win with Jason Hooy charging for home. He was tagged out by Pitcher Michael Collodel at the plate. The game remained tied into the bottom of the 8th when Mauricimo Duran scored the winning run on his in-the-park homerun.

              

Jason's collision with Michael at home plate resulted in a mild concussion and he spent half the night at Mount Diablo Hospital's ED. He is completely ok, and will recouperate over the next few days, eager for more baseball.
