The first game of the season was another close one between the Mets and A's. Nic Bob pitched a complete game for the A's. Nic allowed only three hits, with no walks and fifteen strike outs. Zach Foy, Ricky Montoya and Brandon Peterson pitched for the Mets. Getting base hits for the A's were Luis Rosas, James Brekle, Nic Bob and Sam Lord. Getting base hits for the Mets were Ricky Montoya, Zach Foy.  Zach Foy also hit a triple.
