Rangers vs Yankees - April 5, 2007

The Yankees started the scoring with 4 runs in the bottom of the 2nd with singles by Ammiel, Austin, Sophia, River & Ryan. A fielders choice by Jessica and a stolen base attempt by Ryan rounded the scoring in the inning.  In the 3rd, the Yankees scored 3 more runs on a lead-off single by Alex who scored on Brandon's double. Brandon scored on a pass ball & Ammiel, who got on base by a walk, scored on a Sac-fly by Austin.

The Rangers scored in the 4th when Jose lead-off with a single, went to third on an error & scored on a single by Cory.  In the Yankee 4th Martin started the inning with a double, went to third on a ground-out and scored when Alex tried to bunt his way on base.

In the 5th the Rangers scored again when Jose & Logan hit back to back triples to right center field.
The Yankees answered in their half of the 5th when Ammiel lead-off with a single, went to third on consecutive walks to Austin & Jessica, and scored on a Sac-fly by Sophia.

Austin Rogers pitched another gem of a game, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits striking out 9 batters and walking 1. James Jarrett pitched the 6th inning to wrap up the game allowing 0 runs & 0 hits.
Logan Bangert pitched into the 5th inning for the Rangers allowing 9 runs on 9 hits striking out 3 batters while walking 4. Hunter Lockhart finished the game for the Rangers allowing 1 walk and 0 hits.
