The Mets and Cardinals engaged in a well played, well pitched ballgame with the Mets prevailing 6-2. Zachary Foy pitched five strong innings, giving up just three hits and striking out seven to pick up the victory.

Daniel Golden pitched just as well for the Cards, striking out five and walking no one. Joel Dodenhoff led the Mets with a double and single, Ricky Montoya doubled, scored once and had an RBI, and Brandon Peterson and Michael Kelly each singled and scored twice. Weston Peters-Ring had an RBI single, while Will Bonnington and Daniel Lopez each had singles for the Mets.

For the Cards, Aaron Thatcher had a triple, single and two RBI's and Daniel Golden had a double and scored once.
