Zachary Foy saved his best game of the year for the final
contest of the 2007 season with a complete game, 7-1 victory over the A's. Zach
allowed just five hits and two walks, while striking out five. Fine catches in
right field by Dominic Ceja and left field by Will Bonnington helped stop a
first inning rally by the A's. Brandon Peterson had three singles and scored
twice, and Foy, Ricky Montoya, Andrew Robles, and Weston Peters-Ring all singled
for the Mets. Nic Bob led the A's with an RBI triple and two singles, with Sam
Lord and Sam Panaanen adding singles.
