The school district might be taking one of our fields as the do not have a regulation field for softball. Mark will be attending the meeting on this at the school district later this month for a decision.

February 25th @7pm at El Dorado will be the team mom/safety meeting.

The umpire clinic will be on March 16th.

March 1st is the district advanced umpire clinic, A-AAA clinic for scorekeepers TBA.

We reviewed and revised the budget. Jim said that we are down in registration this year compared to years in the past.  The budget was approved and passed.

The rototiller bought new in Dec. 2002, has been stolen from the Mt. Diablo fields. The insurance should cover the cost of a replacement after the $250 deductible has been paid. It was approved for Mike to purchase another one.

An attempted break in at Mt. Diablo failed, but we still have a huge problem with the homeless there.  If we see any evidence of homeless camping, please notify Jim as he works for the Outreach program that help the homeless.  There is lots of vandalism, theft, homeless camping at Mt. Diablo.  Managers please check all dugouts, fields, bathrooms etc. before allowing
players on the fields.

2 managers for Jr. Baseball have been approved: Bob Lee and John Costanza.  Also, it looks like we will have 4 softball teams.

The electrician is ready to work depending on if we lose a field or not. Snack Shack is very vulnerable and things need fixing ASAP!!!

Mike is holding off on work parties until we know about the field situation.  Field permits will be ready soon. Effective March 1st soccer has priority over the fields. After that it will be on a first come first served basis.
