MINUTES FROM BOARD MEETING
ON NOVEMBER 7, 2002
HELD AT CONCORD HIGH
SCHOOL, ROOM 210
In attendance: Mark Lloyd,
Mary Bishop, Jim Bouquin, Kathy Sheehan, Ken Colombo, Dawn Haigh, Jeff
Haigh, Eric Moore-non board member
New refund policy was discussed
and voted on (passed by all). 100% will be refunded up to tryouts. Nothing
after that.
Snack shacks were discussed.
We want to have a concession company come in and take over Mt. Diablo.
It was pointed out that the concession company would be better and we would
still make a profit. This would solve the problem of getting volunteers
to staff it and also free up the board members for other things. Jim is
concerned that the shacks need to run better as the money handling is a
problem. Kathy was not in favor of this idea but we tabled it for a full
board discussion at a later date.
Review and last minute prepartions
for signups were discussed.
Update on golf tournament-We
are good to go, everything is in place for Oakhurst golf tournament. Auction
items have been purchased, looks like we will have a great turnout.
Meeting was adjourned early.
