Concord American Newsletter
January, 2004

Welcome to the 2004 season of little league.  We are so excited to see so many new families.  Our T-Ball division has quite a lot of new players, the future of Concord American Little League.

We are well under way toward the start of the season.  We have had three signups, with our final signup January 27th.  Tryouts have started and we will be starting team drafts soon.  It is not too late to signup to play this season.  If you know of anyone who still has not signed up or wants to play, please have them come to signups on the 27th or contact on of our board members.

Please read through the newsletter which will tell you about a lot of exciting events coming up.  We look forward to seeing you all at the fields.

It Is Time To Work On Our Fields.

We need volunteers to help with mowing, weeding, planting, painting and general cleanup.  If you can give any time to help with this, please contact Chris Oswald at 689-7852 or pwrwsh1@astound.net

Your Help Is Greatly Needed!

We have two snack bars which run full service for all games.  Each snack bar requires a supervisor to oversee the volunteers that show up to work.  The responsibilities of a supervisor are to acquaint everyone with the snack shack and instruct them on how everything works, and to be present onsite in case of problems or questions.

Full training is available and you can supervise 1 night a week, 1 shift on Saturday or more if you choose.

Please, this task is never filled and we cannot open the snack shacks if we don’t have supervisors.

Please call Kathy at 458-2313 or bearsmom7@aol.com for more information or to sign up to help.
