Well, the time is almost here!! Yes folks, it is getting closer to Opening Day 2003.
We have a lot of fun and excitement planned for everyone this year. The board and the Opening Day committee have been hard at work to make sure that this is a huge success. Don’t miss out; you’ll want to be there!!!

We also want to congratulate all the managers. We know that you will make this a wonderful season for all.

Umpire Clinic: Sunday March 16th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. @ Mt. Diablo Fields.
Scorekeeping Clinic (Instruction Portion): Sunday March 16th at 12:30 p.m. @ Mt. Diablo Fields.

COME OUT TO THE HOME RUN DERBY OPENING DAY!!!!!

A new and exciting twist to the annual Hit-A-Thon!!!!! Work your way into the finalist round of the Home Run Derby at 2:30 p.m. at the Major Field. Participation prizes for all who bring in a pledge of $10 or more. Prizes for top hitters in each division. Play station 2 for top money producer!!!!! Team prizes and more!!!!! Come one come all!!!!! Don’t forget your pledge sheets!!!!!

Reminders and date deadlines:

***Opening Day BBQ Tickets: Orders due March 20th at Concord High Room 208, from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

***See’s Fundraiser Order Forms: Due Opening Day March 29th.

***Oakland A’s Tickets: Orders due on Opening Day-Little League Day is Sunday April 27th starting at 11:00 a.m.

***Cookie Dough/Pizza Orders: All are due on May 3rd

***Tommy T’s Tickets: All Orders are due no later than May 10th

***Gift Checks/Coupon Books: Orders and sales for this will continue all season. Extra books not sold are to be returned by Closing Day ceremonies.

***Don’t forget your picture packet orders on Opening Day.

***Team Mom’s, be sure to remind your team’ parents of their work assignments for Opening Day and to please be on time for their shift.

***Don’t forget to have your teams banner to the Mt. Diablo Fields on Friday March 28th by 6:00 p.m.

We are desperately in need of picnic tables and park benches for the Mt. Diablo complex. If you know anyone who can donate these please contact Mike Galindo at 686-2547.

All board meetings are open to the general membership on the first and third Thursdays of the month starting at 7:00 p.m. @ Concord High School in Room #208.
